Detection, Diagnosis and Treatment for Meibomian Glan Dysfunction or Disorder (MDG), begins with completing a survey and performing Autorefraction, Visual Field and Tonometry. A physical inspection of the eye and tear count performed inside the doctors office. An Anterior and Retinal Photo is taken. Eye Lids disinfection and cleaning is performed in Preparation for Localized Eyelid Heat Therapy (EHT). Performed at the EHT station, an initial session takes place. After the EHT session finalizes, Meibomian Glands are massaged, cleaned and treated. A Plan is then prescribed along with a monthly supply of specially formulated products is reviewed and included. At this point, also included follow up visits are then scheduled for 1 month, 3 months and 6 months.
